PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To optimize voltage applied to a motor, in accordance with the running condition of the motor by eliminating fluctuations in a DC link voltage due to the body of a centrifuge. SOLUTION: While a motor is at a stoppage, a CPU 18 controls DC power converter 1, and a control circuit 12 for controlling the charging voltage of a smoothing capacitor 4, to adjust the charged voltage of the smoothing capacitor 4. The prescribed charged voltage of the smoothing capacitor 4 is detected by a DC voltage detecting means 22 for detecting a predetermined, prescribed charged voltage of the smoothing capacitor 4 to store the characteristics of the output voltage of the smoothing capacitor voltage sensor for the charged voltage of the smoothing capacitor 4 into a storing means 25. While the motor is operating, the CPU 18 reads the characteristics of the output voltage of the smoothing capacitor voltage sensor for the charged voltage of the smoothing capacitor 4 stored in the storage means 25, controls the control circuit based thereon, and adjusts the charged voltage of the smoothing capacitor 4, in accordance with the running condition of the motor. |
