PURPOSE:To enhance nearly the same color reproducibility at all times independently of a direction in which an image pickup device is directed to an object by providing plural photometric light guide parts. CONSTITUTION:Plural photometric light guide parts 5a-5c consist respectively of white transluscent diffusion plates, the part 5a is provided to the upper part of the camera main body from the object and the part 5b is placed to the right and the part 5c is placed to the left. Then the light of incidence from the parts 5a-5c is led to the photometric photodetector 22 via the light transmission parts 24a-24c such as an optical fiber and three primary colors or two primary color signal outputs of the photometric photodetector 22 are subject to arithmetic processing by an arithmetic processing circuit 23 to obtain the primary color ratio of the surrounding light. Since the light from the three directions of the camera main body is led to the element 22, the light source color is measured without being affected in the direction in which the camera is directed.
