<p>The device has an upper absorber connected to a fixed impact damping element (5) i.e. damping case, provided at the front of a body of a motor vehicle, at its longitudinal end, by a support element i.e. plate (6). The plate maintains a rigid connection element (3) i.e. deformable bar shaped strap, whose end (3b) is fixed to the plate. The element (3) has another end (3a) that is fixed to an end of a lower absorber (2). The element (3) is deformable under a small impact corresponding to pedestrian impact standards. The absorbers are made of thermoplastic or composite material.</p> |
