HARDWARE/SOFTWARE CO-EMULATION USING VIRTUAL SYNCHRONIZATION TECHNIQUE

A hardware/software-integrated emulation method using the virtual synchronization is provided to prevent the deterioration of performance by synchronizing simulators with emulators only when accessing a shared resource. A shared source access address used for data transmission to a task is confirmed(101). It is determined whether the previous transmitted data is transmitted to an integrated simulation engine(102). If so, the data is separately stored(105). If the data is not transmitted, relative execution time traces among data, which is not transmitted to the integrated simulation engine among data to be transmitted to the other task, records of accessing share resources and each shared resource accessing are collected.
