<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for dispensing the repetitive, precise, low-volume liquid from the dispensing orifice of a noncontact liquid dispensing burette. <P>SOLUTION: In this method, the dispensed liquid is suctioned through the dispensing orifice to be led into communicating passage so that a relatively small volume of the suctioned gas fluid may form a minute simple air gap completely-encased in the area between the inner wall of the communicating passage and the liquid demarcation between a system fluid and the dispensed liquid included in the communicating passage. This air gap effectively inhibits scattering and dilution among them in the liquid demarcation. For dispensing, a rapid pressure pulse of prescribed pulse width is impressed on the system fluid in the upstream from the minute air gap so as to move from the minute air gap without virtual fluid compression of the minute air gap and then travel to the dispensed liquid. Thereby dispensing of liquid from the dispensing orifice, that is, dispensing of effectively accurate and relatively low-volume noncontact liquid will be enabled. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
