PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solar shading body which enables a light shielding body to be put into a light shielding attitude in the presence of solar insolation and put into a daylighting attitude in the absence of the solar insolation. SOLUTION: A temperature sensing part 21 of a self-temperature sensitive power driver 20 is heated by an electric heater 22; a driving portion 23 is elongated when the temperature sensing part 21 senses a temperature as high as/higher than a preset temperature; the driving portion 22 and the light shielding body (louver slat 2) are connected together by a connecting means 24 so that the light shielding body can be put into the light shielding attitude by the elongation of the driving portion 23; and the electric heater 22 generates heat by the electric power generated by a solar battery panel 3, so that the light shielding body can be turned to the light shielding attitude in the presence of the solar insolation.
