PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce an in-sleep body movement identification device identifying complex movements of each body part occurring while asleep in details. SOLUTION: In an in-sleep body movement identification device for identifying movements of each body part of a test subject while asleep, it has a body movement measuring means for measuring and memorizing the movement of a test subject, a movement element extracting means for sectioning the time-series data detected by the body movement measuring means with time, dissolving into the movement elements and extracting, a movement element model memorizing means, a movement element identifying means for comparing the movement element obtained by the movement element extracting means with the movement element model and identifying the movement element, a movement sequence model memorizing means for memorizing sequence model related to a chronological order of the movement elements for composing the movement, and a movement identifying means for comparing a sequence related to the chronological order of the movement elements output from the movement element identifying means with the sequence model related to the chronological order of the movement elements memorized by the movement sequence model memorizing means in order to identify the movement.
