PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information recording medium which is excellent in flatness and reads servo data normally. SOLUTION: Concave/convex patterns 20t and 20s (data track patterns and servo patterns) are divided into ring-shaped regions Az, A1-A4 that are concentric with the concave/convex patterns 20t. A unit convex length and a unit concave length increase in each ring-shaped region A from an inside to an outside of the ring-shaped region in proportion to the distance from the center O, and values produced by dividing average unit convex and concave lengths inside each ring-shaped region A by a distance from the center O decrease toward the outer periphery of the medium. Respective lengths L1-L4 along a radial direction of the ring-shaped regions A1-A4 increase toward an outer periphery of the medium. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
