<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera body capable of appropriately controlling the drive of a focus adjustment lens.SOLUTION: A camera body comprises: a focus detection part 21 for detecting a focus state of an optical system including a focus adjustment lens 32; a receiving part 21 for receiving, from a lens barrel 3, limit information on a drive movable range for the focus adjustment lens 32; a determination part 21 for determining a speed, as a target speed, at which the focus adjustment lens 32 is driven during focus detection on the basis of the limit information; and a transmission part 21 for transmitting, to the lens barrel 3, information based on the drive target speed determined by the determination part 21.</p> |
