PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stator, which is superior in heat dissipation from a coil to a core, concerning a stator, which is equipped with an insulator around each tooth, and a motor, which has the stator. SOLUTION: In this stator, which has the stator core that is equipped with an annular yoke 2 and a plurality of teeth 1 projected inward in its radial direction from the yoke 2, the insulators 4 of resin materials that surround the teeth, and coils 3 that are formed around the insulators 4, grooves 21, which extends inward of the yoke 2 along the flank of the teeth 1, are formed, and the ends 41 of the insulators 4 are accommodated in the grooves 21.
