<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect a scene with a high operation rate of a CPU by monitoring the transition rate to power-saving state of the CPU. <P>SOLUTION: The power-saving control self-diagnostic device for the CPU 103 which performs processing of a plurality of processes in a process unit, and is laid in an operating state when a process to be processed is present, and in a power-saving state when no process to be processed is present comprises a timer 104; and a RAM 105. The timer 104 generates periodic pulses to perform interruption processing to the CPU prior to the processing of the process by the pulse. The RAM 105 records a transition from the operating state to the power-saving state of the CPU as a flag, determines that power-saving control is normally performed when the recorded frequency of flags is one or more in the interruption of the CPU by the timer to clear the frequency of flags, and determines that the operation rate of the CPU is high when the recorded frequency of flags is 0 in the instruction of the CPU by the timer, or the transition from the operation state to the power-saving state is never performed to perform alarm report and display to the CPU. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
