<p>An image signal processor (1) comprises a motion detecting section (11), a previous frame image data generating section (12), and a corrected image data output section (13). The motion detecting section (11) detects the direction of the motion of images in image data on each frame of an image signal to be inputted. The previous frame image data generating section (12) generates image data on the frame preceding by one frame on the basis of image data on the current frame of the image signal to be inputted and the result of the motion detection by the motion detecting section (11). The corrected image data output section (13) corrects image data on the current frame of the inputted image signal on the basis of image data (G2) on the current frame of the image signal to be inputted and image data (G1) on the frame preceding by one frame generated by the previous frame image data generating section (12) and outputs the corrected image data to a liquid crystal display (2).</p> |
