METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR FILTERING A DISTURBED CYLINDER PRESSURE SIGNAL FROM A CYLINDER IN AN INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE

A method and a system for filtering cylinder pressure signals disturbed from a cylinder of an internal combustion engine are provided to filter cylinder pressure signals as the angle function of a crankshaft by applying time-tuned and type-tuned filters on current disturbance variable. As to one or more disturbance variables generated for limited time intervals of a pressure profile of an operation cycle, a filter tuned by the type of disturbance variable is fixed in operation cycle. The filter is allocated to disturbance variable time window or windows. The filter time-tuned and type-tuned based on the position of a crankshaft is applied on the current disturbance variable. The cylinder pressure signal is filtered as the angle function of the crankshaft.
