The chair has a backrest and legs that are designed to be adjustable with respect to lengths. The legs are designed as U-shaped tubular leg frames (1) and the backrest is designed as U-shaped tubular backrest frame (2), where limbs of the leg/backrest frames are equipped with telescopic devices (6). A locking unit (5) e.g. pushbutton, fixes the telescopic devices of the leg frames. A backrest cover (3) is adjustably received from the limbs of the backrest frame. The backrest cover is connected with an upper side of the backrest frame by a hook and loop fastener (4).
