PURPOSE: A failure diagnosing and processing method of a torque converter damper clutch is provided to eliminate foreign material by washing a solenoid after diagnosing the failure of a damper clutch. CONSTITUTION: A torque converter checks whether a control value for a damper clutch solenoid is a maximum value or not(S10). The torque converter checks whether an error exists on the damper clutch solenoid and a CAN or not(S20). The torque converter inspects speed difference of input speed and output speed outputted to a turbine of the torque converter(S30). The torque converter repetitively turns on the damper clutch solenoid(S40). The torque converter inspects duration time of failure(S50).
