<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an airbag device capable of deploying an airbag speedily and accurately in a desired form. <P>SOLUTION: This airbag device is provided with the airbag 10 stored in the inside of a roof of a vehicle while it is folded down and an inflater. The airbag 10 is provided with an airbag main body 12 expanded and deployed between a seat 26 of the vehicle and a body side wall, a gas introducing passage 11 extended in such a shape that bends in one direction in the halfway part to communicate the airbag main body 12 with the inflater, and an inner bag 17 provided in the inside of the airbag main body 12 to extend in the direction of vehicle width by using the gas introducing passage 11 as a start point. A fastener 19 for fixing the airbag main body 12 on the roof of the vehicle is provided at a position being an outward side of the bent part in a part on a gas introducing passage 11 side of the airbag main body 12 and the position on the gas introducing passage 11 side more than a tip of the inner bag 17 in the direction of width of the airbag main body 12. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
