The invention concems a method for ambiguity processing on distance measurements carried out by radar whereby the radar transmits a signal switched between a first frequency (FI) and a second frequency (F2) and receives the signals sent back by a target on two receiver channels each associated with one frequency (F1, F2), the measurements being carried out on the basis of the phase difference between the signals on each channel, each channel (41, 42) receiving a signal whereof the frequency ranges between the first and the second frequency, at the Doppler frequency near the target. The invention is applicable in particular to continuous wave radar whercof the frequency of the transmitted signal is altemately switched between at least two frequencies.
