FIELD: physics. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention is intended for use in mechanical engineering for identification of heated and unheated metal and heated nonmetallic products. Device includes sensing device formed by inductive sensing device located between infrared photodetectors, executed in the form of inductance coil placed in ring groove of open end face of ferrite core with central hole, and capacitive sensing device erected in the central hole of the ferrite core coaxially with this hole. At travel of the heated or unheated metal product concerning the device sensing unit there is consecutive passage of the first infrared photodetector by it, cross of inductive sensing unit electromagnetic field, interaction to electric field of capacitive sensing device and passage of the second infrared photodetector. Thus on the first device output the signal with level logic "1", bearing the information on identification of the heated or unheated metal product is fulfilled. There is voltage with level logic "0" on the second output of the device. In case of travel of the heated nonmetallic product the signal with level logic "1", bearing the information on its identification, is fulfilled only on the second output of the device. Thus on the first output of the device there is voltage with level logic "0". ^ EFFECT: identification of heated or unheated metal and heated nonmetallic products with increased reliability without contact with them. ^ 5 dwg |
