<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a polarizing plate having high adhesion strength between a polarizing film and a protective layer and having excellent scratch resistance. <P>SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing a polarizing plate is characterized in that: the method includes processes of (a) supplying a composition for a radiation-curing adhesive to between a polarizing film and a first protective layer formed on a first face of the polarizing film and between the polarizing film and a second protective layer formed on the second face of the polarizing film, (b) laminating the polarizing film, the first protective layer and the second protective layer with the above composition for a radiation-curing adhesive, and (c) curing the composition for a radiation-curing adhesive composition by irradiating the layers with radiation to form radiation cured adhesive layers; and at least the first protective layer is not subjected to a saponification process. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
