PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the deterioration of the air-conditioning feeling of an occupant in a cabin due to the drastic fall of the air blowing amount of an air blower caused by the temporary abrupt lowering of the temperature of engine cooling water. SOLUTION: A vehicular air conditioner is provided with the air blower 4, a heat exchanger 6 for heating the blowing air of the air blower 4, a water temperature detection means 13 for periodically detecting the temperature of the cooling water, a warmup control means for controlling the blowing amount of the air blower 4 when the temperature detected by the water temperature detection means 13 is not more than a predetermined set temperature, and a means for determining the abrupt lowering of the temperature which determines whether or not it is the state of an abruptly lowered temperature when the control of the blowing amount of the air blower 4 is carried out by the warmup control means. The warmup control means starts air amount maintaining control when it is determined to be the state of the abruptly lowered temperature, and continues the air amount maintaining control till the temperature detected by the water temperature detection means 13 becomes higher than the temperature obtained one period before the temperature detected by the water temperature detection means 13 when it is determined to be the state of the abruptly lowered temperature.
