PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To support the generation of an image to be pasted onto a polygon, by generating a still image without a shift from a moving image photographed in an interlace system. SOLUTION: A device 100 for supporting the generation of an image to be pasted has three functions. A synchronization control part 120 and a display control part 130 synchronously display the trajectory of a photography position and a video image on displays 50, 60, on the basis of video image data and history data. A specification part 140 automatically specifies a frame wherein a feature for which an image to be pasted is to be generated is appropriately photographed, from the video image data on the basis of the history data, photography conditions and the position of the feature.
