PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an actuator for linear driving, capable of preventing the tooth flank wear of a rack gear, and improving specifications and a life. SOLUTION: In the actuator for linear driving using a rack and a pinion mechanism, a plurality of idler gears 6, 7 engaged with the rack gear 3 is provided, and a pinion gear 8 simultaneously transmitting rotations to the plurality of the idler gears 6, 7 is provided. By the rotations of the pinion gear 8, the plurality of the idler gears 6, 7 is simultaneously driven, and the rack gear 3 is driven by the plurality of the idler gears 6, 7.
