PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively control the position of a strip in the right-to-left direction even during the low-speed operation by providing operational parameters for the low-speed operation on a strip position adjusting means. SOLUTION: A web rotary press comprising a printing unit for printing a web W, and a web guide device 10 for adjusting the position in the direction orthogonal to a web conveying path, and further comprises a rotary encoder 17 for detecting the rotational speed of the press which detects the rotational speed of the web rotary press, and a control device 20 of the web guide device which compares the rotational speed of the web rotary press detected by the rotary encoder 17 for detecting the rotational speed of the press with the preset threshold, and changes the operational parameters (the corrective speed and the dead band) of the web guide device 10 according to the result of comparison.
