PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a railway vehicle decreasing noise of a blower. SOLUTION: This railway vehicle is furnished with: an inverter to invert trolley electric power to alternating electric power, an electric motor driven by the alternating electric power inverted by this inverter; an air intake port provided on a side surface of a vehicle body to take outside air to the inside of the vehicle body of the railway vehicle; and a blower to cool the electric motor by blowing outside air taken in from the air intake port, and further, the vehicle is furnished with a noise prevention means between the blower and the air intake port or in the air intake port.
