PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To measure a high reaction speed regardless of the kind of a sample. SOLUTION: The sample is put in a sample container 11 while a reference material is put in a material container on a reference side and a power supply is turned on in a state that a liquid is injected in a liquid housing cylinder 14. The rotary shaft 13 on a sample side and the rotary shaft on the reference side are rotated at the same time and the liquid in the liquid housing cylinder 14 is allowed to get mixed in the sample container 11 to be stirred. The stirring heat caused by stirring and the heat of reaction caused by the mixing of the sample being a measuring target with the liquid are produced. Only the stirring heat is produced on the reference side. Temperature difference is produced because the heat values produced on the sample side and the reference side are different from each other while the voltage corresponding to the temperature difference is produced in the thermocouple 35 of a temperature detection part 5 and the temperature difference based on a voltage value is calculated by a data processing part 42. The calculated temperature difference sets off the temperature change caused by a factor other than the heat of reaction such as the stirring heat or the like and the change quantity of temperature caused only by the heat of reaction is calculated.
