PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tire vulcanizing method capable of imparting a necessary and sufficient degree of vulcanization to rubber regardless of parts even if the thickness of a tire is uneven by the respective parts, and to provide a bladder to be used for the method. SOLUTION: In the tire vulcanizing method, tires are vulcanized using a bladder 1 in which, in the inner peripheral face of the bladder to be pressed against the inner surface 11 of tires, ruggedness is provided only for a part 21 containing a part corresponding to at least the thickest tire part, while other parts 22 are smooth surfaces.
