PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control valve type storage battery preventing generation of peeling off or crack of a joining part of a battery container and a lid, and excellent in installation. SOLUTION: The control valve type storage battery includes a rib 31 on the side surface 22 of a battery container 11, projecting to the outside than a lid 12, and having strength enough to support the empty weight.
