PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a graft copolymer, by which a resin composition having excellent impact resistance and flowability particularly at a low temperature because of mixing it with a thermoplastic resin and having sufficient flame retardancy is provided, a thermoplastic resin composition, and a molded article obtained by molding the thermoplastic resin composition. SOLUTION: The method for producing a graft copolymer includes polymerizing 7-25 mass% of a vinyl monomer (B) containing a specific amount of multifunctional vinyl monomer (b1) in the presence of 75-93 mass% of polyorganosiloxane-based rubber (A) with 50 mass% or more of an insoluble toluene content. Also, a thermoplastic resin composition produced by mixing with the graft copolymer obtained by the production method and the molded articles thereof are provided. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
