PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new adhesive that has both performance of short-time adhesiveness and high durability simultaneously, and also passes the test of repeated boiling water resistant adhesive strength according to the first class No.1 of JIS K6806, and to provide a method for adhesion. SOLUTION: The two-pack fractional coating-type rapid curing aqueous adhesive comprises a liquid A, that is prepared by mixing a 100 pts.wt. emulsion mixture (a12) of an aqueous resin emulsion (a1) and an acetoacetylated polyvinyl alcohol (a3) and a 5-30 pts.wt. alicyclic or araliphatic isocyanate compound, and a liquid B, that is a 1-15 wt.% aqueous solution of a hydrazide compound (b1), wherein the mixing proportion of the acetoacetylated polyvinyl alcohol (a2) in the emulsion mixture (a12) is 3-30 wt.%, and the total amount of nonvolatile components of the aqueous resin emulsion (a1) and the acetoacetylated polyvinyl alcohol (a2) in the liquid A is≥45 wt.% and <65 wt.%, and the compression shearing adhesive strength of an adhesive test piece after 144 hours of curing time in the repeated boiling test method according to JIS K6806 is at least 5.88 N/mm<SP>2</SP>that is an acceptance criterion of the first class No.1. The method for bonding comprises applying an adherend, that is coated with the liquid B previously, to the liquid A, and contacting it with another adherend, then pressing the both, otherwise contacting an adherend coated with the liquid A with another adherend coated with the liquid B so that both surfaces coated either with the liquid A or with the liquid B contact each other, then pressing the both.
