PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem wherein a technique called a "CSS sprite" is provided in order to display images of Web pages in a client terminal at high speed, however, when data sizes of rectangular images for the CSS sprite become unnecessarily large, communication of the CSS sprite image itself takes time, resulting in the deterioration of shortening efficiency of display time. SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus is provided that includes the function for generating the rectangular images in such a manner that display areas of the rectangular images for the CSS sprite are reduced, and a plurality of images are arranged on the same plane so that the respective images may not overlap with one another and the rectangles may have approximately minimum diagonal lines, and suppresses an increase in data sizes of the rectangular images to secure a communication speed.
