<p>A framework is constructed to enable safe personal authentication without transmitting or providing detailed biological information and to provide a service suited to attributes of the individual who has been authenticated on an information communication network. The present invention uses an information communication network that has an authentication terminal that is portable and has a comparison means that reads and stores information that can authenticate an individual, or compares it with existing information, and an output means that outputs only the result of said comparison. The network also has a means that can detect the comparison result from said comparison means, a communication means that performs wired or wireless communication, and a device that can register, identify, or search for where said communication is used. In this way, individual authentication is completed between the individual and the authentication terminal, and only the comparison result is used in other authentication processes. Consequently, improved information security and simplification of the procedure and the system are compatible.</p> |
