<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal transfer image receiving sheet which has excellent printing properties in high-speed printing and excels in releasability from a thermal transfer ink sheet and adhesion to a protective sheet and also in blocking resistance even after a long-time storage, and a manufacturing method thereof. <P>SOLUTION: In the thermal transfer image receiving sheet having one or more image receiving layers on a base, at least one of the image receiving layers is formed by aqueous coating by using a coating liquid of which the viscosity V<SB>1</SB>at 40°C is 200 mPa s or less and the viscosity V<SB>2</SB>at 15°C is twenty or more times higher than the viscosity V<SB>1</SB>. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
