A method for production of porous metal sliding bearings with controlled pore dimensions consists in preparation of initial powders for pressing, separation of organic pore agent into fractions with required dimension of particles, pressing mix of initial powders with pore agent, sintering of bearings and calibration of those. Mixing of initial powders together with pore agent, as such one uses sawdust with low ash content after burning (0.3-0.5 % by weight), is performed during 2 hours, and cooling of sintered samples takes place first in furnace to temperature of 800-750 °C, and than in oil during 10 minutes, after that one performs purification of pores of bearing with removal of ash residue with use of ultrasonic vibrations during 45 in lubricant medium, and after that one performs oil soaking in lubricating oil heated to temperature of 110 °C during 2 hours. At that fine graphite powder (dimensions of particles less than 20 μm) is preliminarily added to oil in amount of 20 g per 1 liter of oil, and after that bearings are immersed to oil at room temperature during 30 minutes. |
