A method of improvement of road holding of a wheeled vehicle during cornering consists in reduction of overturning moments. Pressure in wheel tires of a vehicle is changed, and in the interior tires relative to the trajectory of turning the tire pressure is decreased, and in the external tires relative to the trajectory of turning the tire pressure is increased, which leads to increase of the effective radius of external wheels relative to the trajectory of turning and to decrease of the effective radius of internal wheels relative to the trajectory of turning in the areas of their contact with the road surface and thus reduces the value of overturning moment acting on the vehicle during cornering. |
