PURPOSE: A method for operating a relay station is provided to improve the quality of a transmission signal and to increase a transmission rate by utilizing multiple bands and a collaborative transmission. CONSTITUTION: A method for operating a relay station comprises the steps of: giving feedback for an SINR value of a link, estimated in a terminal, to a base station; transmitting data to a base station-relay station link by using an allocated sub-frame; performing a collaborative transmission by using a sub frame allocated after the data transmission is performed; and allocating a band to each link for the data transmission and collaborative transmission.
