<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor driving apparatus, which is more reduced in cost than a conventional technique, and which changes or switches the direction of a current applied to a motor with high accuracy. <P>SOLUTION: The motor driving apparatus includes: a bottom current detection unit 26 as a detection means for detecting a point 50 at which the magnitude value of a current changes from decrease to increase when a current flowing through a coil 101a is a predetermined direction; a controller 22 for controlling a current changing unit 24 so that energization of the coil 101a is interrupted when the point 50 is detected; and an inverse electromotive voltage zero cross detection unit 28 for detecting zero cross of an inverse electromotive voltage generated in the coil 101a while the energization of the coil 101a is interrupted. The controller 22 controls the current changing unit 24 so that the direction of a current flowing through the coil 101a may be changed to a direction inverse to the predetermined direction when the zero cross is detected. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
