PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problems that fuel and air are separately supplied to a combustion chamber in a cylinder injection engine and distribution of the air-fuel mixture in the ignition timing is apt to be uneven compared to a port injection engine, and that thermal efficiency is deteriorated and a soot exhaust quantity is increased under a full load operation condition.SOLUTION: In the control device for the cylinder injection engine, strong flow of air flowing from an intake valve 7 is changed to the upward flow by a step 16 of a protrusion on a crown surface of a piston, and thereby, a plurality of small eddies are formed in the combustion chamber, and the fuel is injected to the plurality of the small eddies, and the air-fuel mixture is stirred by the eddies, and thus, homogeneity of the air-fuel mixture is improved. |
