<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing device which can easily carry out poster printing. <P>SOLUTION: A CPU 11 generates a plurality of divided printing data by dividing the printing data of a rectangular shape to a matrix shape. The CPU 11 carries out poster printing for connecting a plurality of divided printing data so as to overlap with an overlapping portion at the boundary of printing sheets. For the divided printing data allocated to the upper side on the overlapping portion of adjacent printing sheets, the CPU 11 carries out borderless printing by projecting the divided printing data from the printing sheet by an amount of a projecting region at the boundary. For the divided printing data allocated to the lower side on the overlapping portion of adjacent printing sheets, the CPU 11 forms a gluing portion without the existence of the divided printing data by an amount of the overlapping portion at the boundary to the end of the boundary, forms divided printing data of the amount of the projecting region adjacently to the gluing portion, and forms divided printing data of the lower side printing sheet adjacently to the divided printing data of the amount of the projecting region. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
