PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operation display device that allows a user to recognize by displaying that low power consumption is actually performed in energy saving mode while keeping the energy saving function as much as possible. SOLUTION: An operation section of this operation display device is disposed in a device capable of switching between normal operation mode and energy saving operation mode of power consumption lower than that in the normal operation mode. The operation section includes a touch panel 107 that is arranged on the surface on a display section for performing an operation command of the device and detects the operation command, a main substrate 101 used as a first display section for displaying a button and character required for the operation command, a sub substrate 104 used as a second display section for displaying the power consumption of the device and power mode about the energy saving operation mode. A sub LCD (Liquid Crystal Display) 109 of the sub substrate 104 receives control of a microcomputer 111 informed of power consumption information and power mode information acquired by a CPU 103 of a main substrate 101 for controlling the whole device, and displays the power consumption and the power mode.
