FIELD: process engineering. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building and may be used in bearing production for grinding taper roller spherical end faces. Rollers are arranged between faces of stiff and soft plates fitted aligned to run around their axes. Rollers are mounted on double guide base by their outer surface and on support base they are oriented by face opposite the spherical end face. For this, two support elements and adjustable supports fitted in stiff plate are used. Grinding is carried out by flat grinding wheel with its rotational axis perpendicular to that of stiff and soft plates. Grinding wheel features torus-shaped working surface. The latter stays in contact with, at least, two taper roller systems fitted in appropriate stiff and soft plates arranged regularly along grinding wheel surface in symmetry with its rotational axis. ^ EFFECT: higher precision and quality, as well as efficiency of grinding. ^ 6 dwg, 1 tbl, 1 ex |
