PROCESS FORMING FALLS-THROUGH IN RADIATION PATTERN OF PHASED ARRAY IN DIRECTION TO INTERFERENCE SOURCE

FIELD: radio engineering. SUBSTANCE: invention is intended for increase of noise immunity of radars and communication means employing phased array with discrete control over phases of excitation currents of radiators with the aid of P -discharge semiconductor phase inverters in the capacity of antenna system. Given process is realized by device including N-element phased array, N P discharge phase inverters, high-frequency adder, receiver, commutator, noise detection and filtration unit, unit measuring level of noise signal, unit measuring level of legitimate signal and digital calculator. Compensation of distortions of amplitude-phase distribution across aperture of phased array caused by failures of switching over elements of its P-discharge phase inverters is carried out by simultaneous change of state of each of P-discharge phase inverter of phased array by instructions of digital calculator by value equal to discrete of their switching over performed (2P-1) times, by measurement of level of legitimate signal across output of receiver connected to phased array after each change of state of P-discharge phase inverters, by keeping level of legitimate signal highest in storage of digital calculator together with codes corresponding to this level as starting ones for formation of falls- through in radiation pattern of phased array in agreement with known method. Decrease of level of legitimate signal during realization of procedure of formation of falls-through in radiation pattern of phased array makes it possible to expand application field of process.
