PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain stable output over a long period of time by pressing a slider to a resistor substrate by a constant pressing force.SOLUTION: In this rectilinear-operating electrical component, a movable member 51 has a leaf spring 10 fixed to the upper surface thereof, while the slider 9 is fixed to the lower face thereof, and is biased to the front side of the electric component 1 with a coil spring. A contact position B of the leaf spring 10 with respect to an inner wall surface of a housing is arranged further to the biasing direction side of the coil spring than a contact position A of the slider 9 with respect to a resistor pattern. Rotational moment is applied to the movable member 51 according to the positional relation of the contact positions A, B, and the slider 9 is pressed by the resistor pattern. |
