PURPOSE: An image tracing apparatus for tracing a moving body is provided to reduce the amount of operation which is requested for generating a tracing result. CONSTITUTION: An object detecting unit(102) outputs an object measuring location value which is location information of an image object. An object tracing unit(104) outputs an object tracing location value based on an image of an object which is supplied from the object detecting unit. An output selecting unit(406) selects the object measuring location value or the object tracing location value.
