UNIT MODULE OF NOVEL STRUCTURE AND BATTERY MODULE COMPRISING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A unit module and a battery module including the same are provided to increase capacity, thereby manufacturing battery modules and battery packs which relatively provides high-capacity or high power per unit volume. CONSTITUTION: A unit module includes plate-like battery cells in which electrode terminals are formed in upper and lower ends. The unit module comprises three battery cells(512,514,516) which accomplish laminate structure by bending connection parts of electrode terminals and mutually connect the electrode terminal in a serial and/or in parallel, a pair of external members(522) which is mutually combined in order to cover outside of the battery cell except the electrode terminal site, and a pair of cartridges(532) which installs the battery cells as being located between the battery cells.
