PURPOSE: A molten zinc alloy plated steel sheet having excellent anti-corrosion and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to improve utilization to construction materials, electronics, and anticorrosive steel plates for vehicles by improving corrosion resistance and surface appearance. CONSTITUTION: A molten zinc alloy plated steel sheet having excellent anti-corrosion is composed of a matrix steel sheet and a molten zinc alloy plated layer. The molten zinc plated layer is composed of 0-3 wt% of Al, 1.5-4.0 wt% of Mg, and the rest of Zn and inevitable impurities. Al+Mg is 2.5-7.0 wt% and Al/(Al+Mg) is 0.38-0.48 wt%.
