<p>#CMT# #/CMT# The deflection roller (10) has a shaft with a cylindrical middle portion (12c) and axle pins (12b) at both axial ends that are fixed via flange portions (12b'). The middle portion is surrounded by a jacket (11), and end flanges (20b) are arranged around the axle pins. The outer surface of the middle portion and inner surface of casing are convex-shaped, so that inner surface of casing is contacted with a load over entire axial length. The clutches (60) arranged between end flanges and the shaft, are rotated at same angular velocity for transferring torque. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Heated or cooled deflection roller used in machine for manufacturing paper and cardboard. #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The operation of deflection roller is controlled effectively in which the mutual rotational movement between shaft and jacket is blocked. The radial movement between the shaft and the jacket is allowed. The overall energy consumption of the deflection roller can be reduced effectively and reliably.
