<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide power setting and pre-coding for wireless data transmission from multiple locations to a single device. <P>SOLUTION: A mobile device 122 determines channel coefficient matrices for wireless transmission from antennas 140 at a plurality of locations, generates a power scaling vector based on the channel coefficient matrices, and selects one or more pre-coding matrices based at least on part of the power scaling vector. The antennas are connectable to one or more base stations 130.
