<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a viewer from feeling sick due to the partial movement of an image within a screen. <P>SOLUTION: An image processing apparatus extracts an image object from an inputted image, calculates the proportion of the extracted image object in the screen, and detects the shake frequency of the extracted image object. Then, the image processing apparatus determines a threshold of the proportion in the screen with the detected shake frequency. If the calculated proportion of the image object to the screen is the determined threshold or more, the image processing apparatus corrects the image object so that the movement of the image object becomes less active. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
