An electronic device is provided with: an acquisition unit for acquiring multiple pieces of rhythm information expressing the movement of the chassis of each of a plurality of electronic devices; a calculation unit for calculating the degree of similarity between the multiple pieces of rhythm information acquired by the acquisition unit that correspond to the plurality of electronic devices; and a grouping unit for generating grouping information for grouping the plurality of electronic devices on the basis of the degree of similarity between the multiple pieces of information corresponding to the plurality of electronic devices that was calculated by the calculation unit.
