The device has a nut (132) screwed on a shaft (110) for clamping a workpiece on the shaft. An end of the nut comprises an external or internal cylindrical surface (156) of the shaft, where the end of the nut is opposite to a part of a radial support annular unit (154) i.e. leg. A ring (138) is axially engaged in an inside of the nut for preventing rotation of the nut with respect to the shaft. The ring comprises radial projections (140) that are engaged between hooks (152) of the nut and teeth (136) of the shaft.
